Job Overview:

We are seeking a hardworking and motivated Construction Laborer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in a variety of construction tasks and a strong work ethic. You will be responsible for assisting in the construction, installation, and repair of structures and fixtures, ensuring safety standards are met, and delivering high-quality work on time.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform a variety of construction tasks, including:

    • Carpentry

    • Drywall installation

    • Masonry work

    • Concrete pouring and finishing

    • Framing and roofing

  • Operate and maintain construction tools and equipment such as saws, drills, hammers, and mixers.

  • Assist with the setup and breakdown of scaffolding, ladders, and other temporary structures.

  • Read and interpret construction plans and blueprints to execute tasks accurately.

  • Load, unload, and transport materials to and from the worksite.

  • Ensure the construction site is clean, organized, and free of hazards at all times.

  • Comply with all safety regulations and use protective equipment as required.

  • Work collaboratively with the construction team, contractors, and supervisors to complete projects efficiently.

  • Provide support to skilled tradespeople, such as electricians, plumbers, and bricklayers, as needed.

  • Perform basic repairs and maintenance tasks on construction tools and equipment.

Qualifications & Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a construction laborer or in a similar role.

  • Familiarity with construction tools and equipment.

  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and construction plans.

  • Physical strength, stamina, and the ability to lift heavy materials.

  • Basic understanding of safety guidelines and construction protocols.

  • Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions.

  • Strong teamwork and communication skills.

  • Willingness to learn and take on new tasks as needed.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Certification in construction safety or first aid.

  • Experience with specific trades, such as carpentry or masonry.

  • Forklift or heavy machinery operation experience is a plus.
