Job Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated Warehouse Supervisor to oversee and manage daily warehouse operations. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, extensive knowledge of warehouse procedures, and a commitment to maintaining high standards of safety and efficiency. In this role, you will be responsible for coordinating staff activities, managing inventory, and ensuring timely and accurate order fulfillment.
Supervise daily warehouse operations, including receiving, storing, and shipping goods.
Lead and manage a team of warehouse workers, ensuring tasks are completed accurately and efficiently.
Monitor inventory levels and conduct regular stock checks to ensure accuracy.
Enforce safety protocols and ensure all staff comply with company policies and procedures.
Schedule and coordinate shipments, deliveries, and transportation logistics.
Implement process improvements to optimize warehouse productivity and reduce errors.
Conduct performance evaluations and provide training for warehouse staff.
Collaborate with other departments such as procurement, shipping, and customer service to ensure smooth operations.
Ensure the proper maintenance of warehouse equipment and facilities.
Handle and resolve any issues or discrepancies with shipments, inventory, or staff.
Proven experience as a Warehouse Supervisor or in a similar supervisory role.
Excellent leadership and organizational skills.
Strong understanding of warehouse management procedures and best practices.
Proficiency with warehouse management software (WMS) and MS Office.
Ability to manage, train, and motivate a team effectively.
Strong communication skills and attention to detail.
Knowledge of safety regulations and protocols.
Physical ability to lift heavy objects and perform manual tasks as needed.
Certification in logistics, supply chain management, or a related field.
Forklift operation experience.
Experience with inventory management systems.
First Aid/CPR certification.
